Mossberg 835

Postby Duckin_It » Fri May 22, 2020 7:43 am

Who here uses a 835 as their primary duck and goose gun? I know the one I have shoots great with the overbored barrel. Never had any issues with it and it has shot everything that I have put through it.

Don't know if it's still the case, but many or all had ported barrels that are hell on blind partners' ears.
If you think I'm wrong, you might be right.

I've got a 24in barrel that has the ports but also have a 28in that I use for birds that isn't. I agree a ported barrel is rough in a blind.

Had one. Lasted long enough for me to purchase a nice auto!

Hunting something somewhere!

Got my 835 out and gave it a good cleaning. Might try and do a little clay shooting this weekend.
