U guys running the kicks High flyer Mod, what ammo seems to pattern well in this choke ? Also- does it hold well out to 40 yards?

I couldn’t get good patterns from the mod in my sx3. Kent 3.5” #2.
Now in my Browning silver, I have the high flyer full, and get real good patterns with Rio Bluesteel 3.5” BB. At 45 yards.

I get the best pattern with the kicks hf full. If your on the bird it's dead.

I have no idea, but that fancy ported choke will sure look pretty sticking out your muzzle.

I have had great luck with it out of my sbe2, ducks and geese, have not wing shot much the past few years and switched to a factory improved cylinder the other day, and my shooting prowess was up with the open choke.
Probably go back after some more shooting, and yes it absolutely looks bad ass sticking out the barrel!

Kicks high flyer chokes are marked for steel ...mod version is like i/c normal choke marked for lead. Should say size of patterns with steel through i/c. Kicks high flyer I would look into full then have normal or extended mod like patterns which are actually like full lead patterns with steel shot .
Check out Carlson cremator chokes ! Mid range 12 gauge cremator ends up light mod after steps in choke
Long range after steps ends up at improved mod.
Then you can get non ported choke ...bit of tpu like ported kicks is perty good choice if tour using steel
