Will those run from their internal batteries?

No. If you look at the top of the picture you will see the battery boxes. The decoy attaches to the battery box with the wires attached n the battery box acts as the anchor. These are the old style Higdon pulsator and swimmer. That is why they are so cheap. Lol.
