Northwestern Alabama duck hunting

I just recently moved to northwestern Alabama and know nothing about the area. I was wondering if anyone on here knew of some people I could talk to and get some information or locations to hunt. Any and all info is helpful and thanks for your time!

Grew up there and got into waterfowling (there) in 1967. Sparse is the word I'd use for the quality of the waterfowl hunting in those parts. If you have boat mobility it would be a huge plus as you'll need to scout heavily and be on the lookout for a one-time shoot at a particular spot and only on the few flight days that happen during the season.
