I'm getting out of the Marine Corps in 5 months and will finally be moving my family back from NC to Alabama this spring. Grew up outside of Birmingham, and am hopefully going to end up back in the Huntsville, Birmingham, or Mobile area. I'll be progressively getting more active with the AL and MS forums once I get back in the area.

While I am not in the MC, I completely agree with this post. As your time winds down soak it all in. Then when you get home to Dixie enjoy that as well. Hopefully we will be bustin some AL feathers sooner rather than later.

How has the Coosa treated you? I've never hunted it, but have caught a countless amount of fish on the river.

Hasn't been too bad. A lot of wood ducks around and geese, have to really work to find the mallards though

Nice! I've seen mallards that way before, like you said though...really got to put in the effort.

Had a 5 man limit on woodies, still just local mallards though.
