Covid vaccine distribution change...

The CA state forum has been dead since the Feb youth hunt 3 weeks ago. I thought I'd stir it up a bit. Probably should post this in the Controversial Issues forum, but since it's a State and not national issue I thought I'd post it in here- mods can move if they deem necessary.

Heard on the evening news tonight that CA is starting to use a "new method" to deliver the vaccine.

"Newsom announced last month that his administration had tapped insurer Blue Shield to design and manage a centralized system to get doses out quickly and equitably."

Pardon me, but wasn't one of Gov. Nitwit's campaign promises a CA government-run single payer health care system? And now he pretty much admits that not only is this State not capable of running a single payer system, his elite team of health care experts can't even manage getting a single vaccine distributed... without hiring a PRIVATE HEALTH CARE COMPANY do the heavy lifting?
