Stopped in Blackfoot for a quick breakfast with Craig today Jim. Hope you guys get into the geese next week. Sure did see a lot of them in fields and sitting on the ice. I'm back home after my 3 week fire assignment. I heard there's some new birds around so I may go for a drive tomorrow afternoon once I get the back of the pickup unloaded. Gonna be nice to sleep in my own bed tonight.

Yep, went that way to avoid the nasty weather. Was cold, but the roads were great. For the last leg home I went up to Dillon and across instead of going through Island Park. I was pulling a quad on a trailer and didn't want to chance any icy roads, and you know how Island Park is.

Gene, I called you several days ago but got no answer?
Your number the same still?
So the words Fall and Autumn are not to be capitalized?
They are in my world.

Some days are mostly geese. Some days are mostly ducks. And some days both. But warm barrels are always fun!

Missed it. Just looked and saw you called. Always leave a message if I don't answer.

What a wonderful blessing to be able to share great hunts with two generations of your progeny!

That’s really the reason why I haven’t left CA yet, I still want to hunt with my young boys and my 85 yo dad all together. They are the best hunts that I cherish even if none of us fire a shot.

I hope you are able to get a lot more of those this year FS.
