Atlantic population is going to have 30 day 1 bird season, enjoy !

I heard that may be the case for mallards but hadn’t heard that about geese.

If it's a 30 day goose season I hope Mass at least puts it for the last 30 days of the season.

I hope they don't mess with the mallard limits, it's fine where it is, there is plenty around.

I know they didn't do surveys cause of covid but they shouldn't be down grading limits due to imaginery speculation

I wouldn’t be surprised to see more restrictions on mallards as well. There was an online survey on the subject recently.

I hope and think you are mistaken. Haven't heard a thing. Real good possibility we will see reduced mallard limits. Don't remember exactly what was on the survey, but believe it was one bird with 60 day season and two bird 30 day season. I know I put my top choice as one bird with 60 day season. We all still hunted blacks with the one bird season. I personally am shooting less mallards then say 10 years ago especially on coast, but also earlier. A lot of mornings it is just woodies.

MASSACHUSETTS
NAP Zone: A 60-day season may be held between October 1 and January 31, with a 2-bird daily bag limit. Additionally, a special season may be held from January 15 to February 15, with a 5-bird daily bag limit.

AP Zone: A 30-day season may be held between October 10 and February 5, with a 2-bird daily bag limit.

No changes for mallards
