That’s crazy, glad he’s in good shape and I hope he makes a full recovery.

I watched the same thing happen to my dads beagle about 20 years ago. Parents live on a dirt road out in the country and the dog ran loose most of the time. We were out in the yard and the dog got on the trail of something heading across the road. We saw the car and called the dog but beagles are notorious for not listening when their nose is to the ground. Dog ran right into the tire as the car drove by. She got flipped but got up and had that look like what the heck just happened. She had everything tuned out besides the sent. She was fine except for a few minor scratches. After that I do remember her looking every time she went near the road.

Wow!!

That’s my worst nightmare!

Well... that and pumpkin spice season... but losing a dog for sure ranks WAY higher.

Well the pup is recovered and we’ll be back to a little more intense training in a few days here... but while we wait for that the fishing here has been some of the best I’ve ever had, even getting the kids on em

Oldest daughter got a 4th in bother her 4x200 relay and a 4th in her 200 at track sections this week.

Doesn’t sound like much being 4th but she’s been running on an ankle with 2 sprains all season and is only in 9th grade running against some much bigger schools and older girls.

Makes a dad proud and willing to brag!! She wants a state trip bad.

Congrats to her X, That's awesome!

Not much of brag but I did pick up a case of shells for this fall. Not sure what Rogers will be able to run for a sale this fall with the current economy. Will definitely buy more if they do run one.

No kidding. Last week they sent an email with trap loads for 120 a case.

Yeah no I’m not paying steel prices for lead.

I’ll buy another case if they have decent steel prices but I did grab 2 cases of steel this spring when it started getting crazy.
