Don't worry Biden promised "deal with climate change" in his acceptance speech.

The only way to "deal" with it is for gasoline to cost so much that you can't afford to use it.

But don't worry, to "deal" with it means that your natural gas, heating oil, propane furnace needs to be scrapped as well as you gasoline burning cars, boat motors, tractors, ...

And won't those rolling blackouts like they are having in the summer heat in CA be wonderful when they happen during a polar vortex in MN, WI, MI, or even down here in the relatively warm IL.

BTW, they can't keep the lights on during this heat wave and they only have 1/3rd renewables. If they had 3 times that, it would be far worse.

Cheap gasoline is just one huge impediment to "dealing" with climate change. How do you think they will deal with that?

Around $2.05 here, depending on the latest tropical waves spinning off of the S. African coast (can't get the worries started any too soon for Gulf of Mexico rig shutdowns)!

Since it's Thanksgiving week...$1.94-$1.99 for regular 'round here.
With "Hal 9000" and the msm telling everyone to stay home and safe during Thanksgiving, we may not get the normal holiday travel spike in prices?

Talking about saving the Earff from carbon is easy. Doing it is HORRIBLE. It will destroy both human life and the environment they claim they want to save.

Take a look at all of those cars, trucks and trains out there. Now picture all of those plugging into the grid, mostly at night. Add to that all the houses and buildings that use electricity (coal), natural gas and oil to heat, and electricity (coal) to cool. Granted nuke and hydro make up a small percentage, and the eco-disaster windmills and solar an even tinier amount.

Since nuclear is the sworn enemy of the progressives, we will need exponentially more windmills, solar panels and batteries. And how do you strip mine the entire Earff for all these materials with an electric plug-in dozer?

Very well be the dumbest idea to ever be expressed, and considering it has the full support of AOC, I rest my case.

We have just detected on radar a Chinese military threat, scramble the Air Force. Hang on New York, we will be there next May.

And for the record, on October 31, Mrs. Rat filled up for $1.49 per gallon in Climax Springs, MO.

Let's see what happens when we lose our oil independence.

Come on. Biden, et. al. promise to keep us oil independent. We will be allowed to use zero oil and we will mine zero oil. Not one drop needed to be imported. Just crap loads of batteries and such from China but no oil.

I'm literally supporting (for lack of a better word) a project that is looking at building a whole bunch of little nuclear reactors to put at all the truck stops in America so truckers can pull in and charge up their batters during their mandatory down time.

My support is on the cost/economics of this. My goal is to make sure they use realistic cost estimates and not just assume it will cost what it needs to cost to look economical. For example, we had the first meeting and they are assuming O&M costs similar to large reactors. That would mean they are assuming about 1 employee for every 4 reactors :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3:

These are the people that want to remake everything we do  And they won't :censored: it up.

Ellen Degeneres tells a story of the exact thing. She pulls in to the station in her very fancy car and as soon as she gets out, people recognizer her. She hams it up for them, and then realizes she is on the wrong side of the pump. She makes fun of herself and others laugh.

Then she gets in drives around the island into the exact same position, gets out, and the small crowd is howling with laughter.... at her expense. :lol3:

Up over 50 cents per gallon since the theft of the election.

But Creepy Joe just rescinded the pipeline license and is outlawing fracking, so I am sure that will help.

The Make America Poor Again program is going just as planned. Thousands of people are losing really good paying jobs during a pandemic.

Our troops are supposed to dissuade Russia troops from entering these oil fields.

Trump wanted them out as soon as possible, but now that we will be dependent upon other nations for oil; with Creepy Joe killing fracking and the pipeline, there is little choice but to deploy US troops to protect the flow of oil from our enemies.

Step one in getting US service members killed for no reason other than lining the pockets of Creepy Joe and his crime family.
