Wife went in for a possible annual fall sinus infection today and they tested her, She came up positive. Symptoms are just like a sinus infection with no temperature. I, my daughter and grandson are to be tested. Only symptoms' daughter and grandson have is a slight hack, stuffy nose no temperature. I have the hack and stuffy nose and have had one for two weeks but figured it was allergies as usual for the fall with no temperature, also have a bit of nausea and taste is off a bit . Guess the tests on Monday will tell the story

I also had the annual sinus infection.A battery of antibodies and it was gone for two whole days. Now this but I'm a whole lot better then yesterday. My 8 yr old grandson had it a month ago and it was gone before the test results were back.

Yep that is what the wife experienced, better before the test came back in 10 days. I think they're tests are bogus. If you don't get loss of taste and smell you probably don't have it.

Can you share how you are treating it? I have neighbors two doors down who were both diagnosed about a week ago. Both about 60 and doing well. The doctor recommended Zinc, Vitamin D3 and an antibiotic.

Yet I pulled this off John Hopkins website 5 minutes ago.

Both the flu and COVID-19 spread in similar ways. Droplets or smaller virus particles from a sick person can transmit the virus to other people nearby. The smallest particles may linger in the air, and another person can inhale them and become infected.

Or, people can touch a surface with viruses on it, and then transfer the germs to themselves by touching their face.

People infected with the coronavirus or the flu may not realize they are sick for several days, and during that time can unknowingly spread the disease to others before they even feel sick.

Treatment

Neither the flu nor COVID-19 is treatable with antibiotics, which only work on bacterial infections.

Both are treated by addressing symptoms, such as reducing fever. Severe cases may require hospitalization and very ill patients may need a ventilator — a machine that helps them breathe.

Antiviral medications may shorten the duration of both illnesses.

The purpose of the antibiotic is for the pneumonia which often happens right after the China virus immigrates into your American lungs. The other supplements are to help Pump You Up in your immune system.

Yes it is. Like the doctors who claim the thousands who have been helped by HCQ were not actually helped. Its Science you know.

My sister has a work colleague who went on some weekend vacation with her husband and two other couples. Yep, they must have licked door knobs because they all got the China Virus except for my sister's colleague. Hmmmm. Guess which of the six has lupus and takes HCQ for it?

Yep and you don't need much, tonic water may be enough. Gin and tonic boys. The one dr. on Laura Ingram said 1-2 Hydroxychloroquine a week will work,

Is she specific on hyrdoxochloroquine? There are a lot of different things they give people with lupus as I understand it.

Prayers out for you Mr Mike. I got diagnosed with it about a month ago now, woke up with minor fever, like 100.3 when I tested. Sent home with zithromyacin and told to take the zinc and D3. My fever was gone within 24 hours. Never lost sense of taste or smell. Wife tested positive but never showed any symptoms. Didn't have any energy and lost about 10 lbs because we didn't eat much for about a week.

OK the quinine in tonic water is similar to the hydroxychloroquine and yes in the beginning I got hammered for posting this on other sites because they said you would have to drink gallons of the stuff but then the doctors on the Ingraham angle cardiac specialists claim that even low doses of hydroxy are effective in warding off covid. Now you probably know these treatments affect people in different ways but hey if there's a chance why not enjoy a gin and tonic. And as I stated the wife got covid and I did not or had it and had absolutely no symptoms but I was never tested. Somehow the wife knew about this and we were drinking tonic water back in January. Now if you go in the internet you will find many many sites that claim it's all BS but if you keep searching you'll see the connection.

I'm feeling alot better. A bit of a sore pallet from that cleaning rod they probed my brain pan with. And still get a little tired and can't taste or smell much. On the bright side the food consumption has dropped along with weight. And the dogs easier to be around. Now for the bad news immunity only lasts 6 to 8 months. How do I know? The wife had it in March and was extremely sick only 12 hours from a venilator when she turned around. Now she has it again but much milder. There's your herd immunity theory for ya

Thanks. My wife is on it as well and at one point was worried about running out. There's still a lot of anecdotal evidence that it helps but clearly not the godsend it seemed early.

Hope everyone gets through this quickly with minimal impact.

Maybe it is the magical combination of fermented juniper berries and quinine. That's good enough for me.

Of all the boozes, I have always thought gin was the most interesting as it is fermented with juniper berries which are highly toxic to humans when NOT fermented.

So, who was the first human that said, "I know these juniper berries make you deathly sick, but we need booze and this is the only thing available."

"Okay Boatman, the batch is done, you take the first swig and we will see what happens."

Gin and Tonic is my go-to beverage, especially in the summer time. Maybe that is why I am covid free after a summer of being shoulder to shoulder with people at the lake who NEVER wear masks. :hammer:

so after 2 weeks of non serious symptoms, both my grandson and I checked negative today even though the wife test positive last week. Nurse said i may have already had it two weeks ago and thats the reason I checked negative today as the virus is out of my system. Its a damned crap shoot
