Thanks to HNT/FSH

Hnt gave a whole bunch of decoys and gear to my daughters and grandkids. My military/student grandson and his buddies made very good use of his share on a morning hunt in Michigan.

Duck and goose stuff is BULKY!! Couple years ago I sold 42 Bigfoots to OHIODUCKA5 in anticipation of the Farm selling as those damned things take a TON of storage room. I'm not running around with a trailer, a posse and looking for ag fields or golf courses to get permission much less hauling and setting up goose decoys by myself. Of course public would be foolish as it is.

So when the Farm DID sell this year I still had a bunch of stuff to liquidate. Momarsh dog blind, a couple lay-out blinds, a bunch of duck decoys and a dozen Bigfoot floaters I never really used. I would MUCH rather gift a friend and their kin than I would fool with making a couple hundred and dealing with low-ballers. Between Mike and his family...I know they went to a good cause as pictured!

These days with crazy season dates and 1/2 arse weather, along with crowds and shrinking turf...I am going back to simple. Walk-in, a few decoys, a mojo and the dog. Afternoon/evening hunts with some peace and quiet. A bit more time after some Roosters too.

So he did me a favor. Got some perks for it too, one of which is some nice Bismuth hand loads for Dad's 16 SxS.

A month from tomorrow Mike and I will be hunting the Great Black Swamp on Erie in what looks like a great blind. Can't wait...and look forward to hunting with his predator dog.
