Now I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.

They're ivory. Only a pimp from a cheap New Orleans whorehouse would carry a pearl-handled pistol.

I thought I would stand here like this so you could see if I was really as big a son of a bitch as you think I am.

The last line sounds like "The man who shot Liberty Valance"
But I doubt it?

Jeremiah Johnson.

But you know everybody's favorite line from that movie will always be
"Skin that one pilgrim, and I'll get you another"

I think the best line from that movie is when Jeremiah asks Del, who is buried up to his neck in sand, if he's alright and Del says "sure, sure I've got a fine horse under me."

Even my old man used to quote Jeremiah Johnson. He'd say to my brother and me: "keep your nose in the wind and your eye along the skyline."

There are many great lines from Officer and a Gentleman, but this is my favorite.

I don't believe what I'm seeing.

Where have you been all your lives, at an orgy?

Listening to Mick Jagger music and bad-mouthing your country, I'll bet...!

From one of my favorites, The Graduate.
“Frankly Ben this all sounds a little half baked”.
Reply. “Oh no, it’s completely baked.”

Please, don't worry so much. Because in the end, none of us have very long on this Earth. Life is fleeting. And if you're ever distressed, cast your eyes to the summer sky when the stars are strung across the velvety night. And when a shooting star streaks through the blackness, turning night into day, make a wish, and think of me. Make your life spectacular

You're afraid of me. You're scared that I won't love you back. And guess what? I'm afraid too. But at least I have the balls to it give it a shot. At least I'm honest with you.

They're not that different from you, are they? Same haircuts. Full of hormones, just like you. Invincible, just like you feel. The world is their oyster. They believe they're destined for great things, just like many of you, their eyes are full of hope, just like you.... Go on, lean in. Listen, you hear it? - - Carpe - - hear it? - - Carpe, carpe diem, seize the day boys, make your lives extraordinary.

Just guess this great entertainer gone way to soon

Yeah I was mostly commenting on the fact that they have guns. But I guess Hollywood's exempt from all that BS

Apparently wasn't a memorable movie in other regards, as I couldn't begin to name it, much less share the plot, but the shock of hearing a villainous mother tell her disappointing son, "You were a load I should have swallowed." made that the most memorable movie line I've ever heard.
If you think I'm wrong, you might be right.

“ hey Mack, which way to redbud?” “ how’d you know my name was Mack”. “ just a guess” “ why don’t you guess your way to redbud”

This isn’t a bridge. This is termites holding hands.
