Just get clothes that will keep you warm and dry. A good set of insulated waders and an insulated jacket if its cold in your area.

You need a shotgun, good shot that patterns well from your gun, a few decoys and a call. Everything else is an extra that just helps.
Don't go over board and buy the expensive decoys as you'll hear guys talk about. Make a jerk string on one of your decoys to make them look alive and look up jerk strings on the forum search here. Also, make sure your dog is obedience trained for sit and stay really well!!!!!!!!!! If he moves and the ducks see him their not coming in.
