Currituck

Generally don't mess with the sound much but ran it Monday to have a track on the GPS and do a little lookin- Blind faces south in a small cove- Wind Saturday is suppose to be outta the N at 20-25 by mid mornin- I know what that kind of wind does to the local rivers but hadn't ever hunted out there with that much on the sound- Blind is only in about a foot of water, figuring there's a good shot it's not reachable by boat and may not be huntable? Also, any reason to expect more than two footers crossing the sound?

Any help appreciated-

What kind of boat do you have? I've made he mistake. If you have less than 18' boat you're playing with fire

With the wind blowing that hard theres a good chance it will blow some of the water out and make it hard to get all the way to the blind. If so you may just have to park the boat where you can and walk in. It will be choppy but you should be able to make it fine. Might be a little bit of a wet ride but if you take it slow and easy and should be good.

I'm not saying don't go I'm saying you better be sure of your ability and your gear/boat. Not a good time to discover a problem.

I hunt an 1860 G3 here.
