This article is timely to me as I walked around the Lodge this past Sunday morning before I left to come home.
I have no idea what the right move is here, but the article sure makes it clear that this will be quite the local hot-button topic.

In all honesty, turning it over to private interests might just be all for the best. The state has been making noises about restoration for years with no results because of a lack of money that will never end. Those few rooms will not cost the local lodging business, which are usually booked solid, any real heartburn.
