Sink Blind Hunting in Ocracoke

I am sure most are booked - but going to try to get a trip booked for New Year's. Any recommendations folks could share would be great. We usually have a group that goes to Core Sound and hunt the box blinds - we want to try something different.

I have been trying for several years to book a hunt there and have never gotten a call back. I think I have tried them all.

Does anyone know how their hunting season went in general. Had an acquaintance go near the end of the season and they said it was like a barren waste land. no ducks.
