beretta shotguns

Looking to see if anyone had any opinions i have a super black eagle 2 right now looking to sell it and i am leaning towards a Beretta. I have looked at the Beretta a4000 Xplor and also the Beretta a4000 xtreme i like the xplor more because the kickoff just not sure how it would hold up duck hunting since its not camo its just a wood finish. I mostly duck hunt swamps and the coast sometimes.

I've got an A400 extreme. I got it b/c I use to shoot an 1100, which has sentimental value. The brackish water was eating it alive, so I decided I needed something else. I also don't maintain things like I should. Kinda slack sometimes. It took a while to get use to it but I love it. Had it a few years now and it is doing awesome. It's a sweet shooting gun. I think it jambed one time but that was b/c of freeze/sleet build up. I would recommend it.

I do not have a SBE II, just curious. I shoot an M2, I am old and don't like 3 1/2.

Guess my first question to the OP would be have you shot one to see if it fits? The finest B guns in the world won't be worth a tinker's damn if it doesn't shoot where you look. Don't worry about the quality of those guns, it's there. And I wouldn't be worried about a non camoed gun or one with a wood stock either. But getting a gun "fit" to your particular frame is what I'd be concerned with the most. Then branch out from there.

I have a A400 Xtreme. This will be the fourth year hunting with it. Love it. No problems so far.

I've been shooting a SBEII for going into its 11th season, it's never had to be worked on. Pretty much everyone I know shoots an original SBE or SBEII, I think one has had an extractor replaced.
