Would appreciate any input from those located or hunting in the Knotts Island/Carova area regarding current water levels and ice conditions- especially as pertains to the Brumley Road landing and Currituck NWR.
Thank you in advance for your input.

Everything is froze up and has been for a week. Water (or should I say ice) is dead low. Haven't been down to the ramp in a couple days but launching was impossible. Weather change later this week should bring the water up but hard to say how long the ice will take to completely melt. Alot of blinds in the sound are already gone.
Ferry closed, locked in ice, landing solid ice today. If plans include hunting around Knotts Island, better have icebreaker.
