Roanoke River

It was suggested to me to give the lower Roanoke a try this can anyone give me any insight what areas might be a waste of time what boat ramp to use or if it's all just a waste of time thanks.

Hi, there are lots of duck in north east NC. here is a link to the public ramps: https://www.ncpaws.org/wrcmapbook/baa.aspx

go to the WRC web site and figure out where there is public opportunity along the Roanoke, should be quite a bit. Get out and scout, you should be able to find some spots. if you do, don't tell others where you found them.
