All: appreciate the post and PM’s.
Destroyed dock and shed. That’s about it other than about 20 trees to cut up.
The folks down east and in Newport were hammered. 200 roof rescues in Newport alone. Many no longer have a home. I was lucky.
My blinds on the White Oak and the New River area gone. I suspect most are. The good news: plenty of good and weathered duck blind material laying along the roadside of Hwy 58 along all of Bogue Banks.
I work on the island and haven’t taken a day off in a bit so did not see this. Good to think about duck stuff. Sick of flooding, pumping, debris removal, and FEMA.
