Saw a grebe on farm pond today
Going to be an epic year of ducks this season
I kill more ducks in one week on public water than you and your "Crews" or "Teams" would even think of killing all season. I work hard, scout and abide by the law...but still kill the crap out of ducks.

Yup. We’re going to be swatting at them with the butts of our guns after we empty 3 boxes of shells and cry “we are Winchester” to the sky. It truly will be epic.

This year let us not allow mergansers as ducks. It has to be a Blue bill, ring neck, redhead, can, golden eye, old squaw.

My guess is NOV 15th.

Heard this morning from a reliable source who was on the water that bills and buffs are just north of us in Virginia. About time for that first push of calander ducks to come through.

In the past week, I've seen about 50 divers(including scoters and oldsquaw) total.

Saw three bufflehead, four white-wing scoters and about a dozen common scoters today.

The only ducks I've seen in my area are teals, wood ducks, and gadwalls I haven't been able to check the place I normally see divers since Florence.

I have been on the water in the Piedmont 3-4 days a week and still have not seen the first migrating duck much less diver and other is November 7th. Really sad what has happened to our duck hunting.
