New boat for divers

Hello everyone,

I have recently sold my old 16’ jon and am getting more into diver hunting. My plan is to get a 20-23’ center console deep v boat, so I can dish during the summer. Do you think the deep V will be fine for a scissor rig at the coast? (Rose bay, pungo River, the various sounds?)

Any help is appreciated.

Don't think any boat will work in those waters after Hyde County prohibits outsiders with their 'Safe Hunter' law.
