Hello everyone. This one is a reach but I thought I would give it a try.

I have a Garmin ETrex 30. It saves waypoints in a .gdx format.

My older Garmin, and the software that accompanied it, has mapping software for my laptop that saves and displays way points in a .gdb format.

The mapping software that came with the old GPS is called MapSource.

QUESTION: does anyone know how to display the .gdx waypoints on the MapSource software?

I have sent this to Garmin as well

Long shot but try calling The GPS store in Ocean Isle Beach NC. They sell them and have good knowledge of what they sell
