We had a good day despite the massive amount of pressure. 4 man limit mixed bag. Half of our birds were greenheads

For what it was worth, I bought me some BOSS ammo and gave it a try. I really like it and while more expensive, it really dropped them dead with fewer follow up shots.

We did good, shot 4 man both days but mostly teal and a lot of pintails. The weather does not look very promising!

Also, not nearly the amount of big ducks that I had been seeing since the ice storm.

Wow, great deer Mic!

Opening day was weird for me. Tried to go to a public spot I had found a bunch of birds, got there just before 3 and it was packed with guys who camped in the parking lot all night. Ended up going to my lease which was not holding birds based on my scouting. Sat in the rain and just before calling it quits at 745 we started having some activity. Ended up with 4mallards in the bag between 2 of us, should of had more but no blind and an over eager dog flared a few groups just before finishing.

Opening day was a flop for us. Lots of folks out. Found birds, group beat us. Got another spot, had some young guys join us. That’s opening day though.
