I'm still in! Cougar has so graciously offered a ride if I cannot find one... This is what military is all about someone willing to go 80mi out of their way to get a brother.

I would have my wife drive me out there but then that is Yakima to Moses Lake to Sedro-woolley to Camano in 1 day. Starting at 3:00am after a long night. I cant ask her to do that. 374miles of driving for her.

Lt. Meyers got attacked as well, his rear end is still intact but he still couldnt escape the wrath...

Call in sick Jhaze. I've heard that reservists get like 2 missed drills per year without getting in trouble.

Ya know...you could always have the wife take a nap in the truck while you hunt. ;)

Sorry Justin, But that was before I hooked Cougar up on the slacker coot shoot. Looks like the Mrs. or no boom boom boom for you.
Anyways it would be boring for the true marksman that you are. 2 shots 4 birds.

Last year we met at the Exxon in Moses Lake off of HWY 171 and I90. I'm pretty sure that is where Ben meets all the clients. Terrell will let us know, I'm sure.

FYI- Sunday we will meet at 5am at Exxon off exit 176, which is our normal meeting place. We will be hunting layouts. Most likely I will not have enough Eliminator blinds for everyone, and some will be in X-Landers. Most of you won't notice the difference but if you have an Eliminator blind and would rather hunt out of it feel free to bring it.

2012 Veteran's day hunt

Postby terrellwa » Thu Nov 08, 2012 9:36 am

Sorry guys on the updates I have been busy and the wife is in surgery today. I'm glad I have such a great wife that goes into hand surgery to have her wrist broken in 8 different spots, removal of a titanium plate from her arm and cutting of her nerves to her wrist to eliminate her daily pain and I still get to hunt the 3 days after surgery and gone the weekend on a hunt from one side of the state to the other.

ok boys it's almost time for the west side hunt. Will be a great time in the blind with fellow vets. The good shooting and birds is just extra.

Good luck to the Slacker Civi's as well I hear they have a heck of a hunt lined up.

I just got over here to Moses lake. Ran into an acquaintance from the west side. He's been over here a couple days and said the hunting has been pretty good for geese but that the place is full of ducks! So much so that ekternkamp (guide service) changed the goose hunt to a duck but for them and is giving them an extra day out in the lake in one of his blinds.
