Had a pretty sad season myself with the lack of weather and then the sudden onset of storm after storm making it too dangerous to get back out on my days off. Did manage a few fun hunts both solo and with friends.ImageImageImage
Every day I try to be the person my dog thinks I am. If I have accomplished this when my time comes, I feel I will have had a pretty good life.

Yeah I have a honey hole once everything starts freezing up but with as low as the reservoirs were to start the year, I didn't get much before everything started freezing.

You must be out east to have corn to hunt! That is 1 thing I hate out here on the west side is the lack of crop fields besides the rare wheat field.

Crazy! I'm down in the Kemmerer area and we have maybe 3 wheat fields within 50 miles...

I may just take you up on that offer. I hunted corn a lot when I was in college in South Dakota and we had it all over. Now my hunting has reverted to mostly water again with the occasional pasture hunt for geese. Glad to see the bump in the goose limit so it makes setting up for them really worth it now.
