Big Blue River/Wilbur Wright

Hello all. I recently moved down to Indiana from Michigan and I am wondering if anyone has had luck on the Big Blue river. I don't currently have a dog or boat, so Big Blue river looked like a possible place to set up a few decs or jump shoot since I could wade across if I'm lucky enough to down some birds. I am not looking for where your "honey hole" just curious how often bird's come to the river. I did some scouting Sunday morning and saw a pair of mallards. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah you can do good on big blue river as long as you can find the birds
