"Left-over crawfish boil corn" Corn bread

Postby Indaswamp » Wed Aug 27, 2014 2:40 pm

I save the left-over corn on the cob from crawfish boils. After slicing the corn off the cob with a knife, I freeze it in a zipper bag.

Make your corn bread following your preferred recipe (I use the one on the back of Aunt Jemima corn meal) but add 1/2 cup of the crawfish boil corn. Goes great with red beans and rice. If you want it hotter/spicier; add more corn.
The Cajun 7 Course Meal; 1 lb. of boudin and a six pack of Abita beer.

Save the Marsh, Eat a Nutria!

Never fart in your waders, it'll give you WORTS.
