Brought my daughter out for the first time last year at 3 years old for squirrel, deer, and ducks. She loved it

I think mine was about eight when she first went duck hunting. Probably four for squirrels. We didn’t get any squirrels that day because every time I said you need to be quiet she giggled.

Just be prepared to cut your hunt short if she gets bored or cold. Better to cut a hunt short than have them have a bad experience. Not everyone’s daughter is a die hard duck assassin like Walnuts.

What duck slayer said is the key.... Make it fun and make sure they have fun was the key to my daughter.... Sure she messed up some hunts when she was younger but those now are some of my favorite hunts because they were learning experience for her... Hell it's even better when I shoot and miss because right on que she will arm chair quarterback it and say if she had her gun they would be dead....
