Finger Lakes 2020

Looking to do a self guided diver hunt on the Finger Lakes. We will be bringing a 21' Duck water boat to hunt out of. Looking for any tips as to which lake is the best and should we wait until Jan or go in Dec. Not looking to take anyone's spot but just some general information would be appreciated. Thanks
