I have a 14' Aluminum Semi V Hull that my father gave me that I am thinking of painting up as a duck boat. Is it worth the effort for a Semi V-hull, or is it too unstable-since there are so many flat bottom john boats used as duck boats? Also, If it is unstable, what are the best ways to Stabelize it?

You can always just put the boat right up into the reeds. With reeds on both sides, it'll stabilize it some.

Many duck boat manufacturers have stabilizer kits as an add-on option. These are holes in the boat (or short tubes welded to the side) that allow you to drive a pole down through the hole and into the ground. You could rig something like this yourself. For instance a cheap way would be to mount some 2" diameter pvc sections to the back sides of your boat. Then when at your spot, in say....4 feet of water get some rebar or conduit (about 7 feet long) and drop through the holes and drive them into the bottom.

I have a 12' jon boat and a 14" semiV. The semi V is ALOT more stable tham the jon boat is.
