Caught my personal best smallie yesterday. 22.5" with the tail pinched. Weight estimated at 7 lbs. Hit right by the boat what a rush! Getting a replica done :)

That's a football if I ever saw one

My only fishing story so far is very sad.... went river fishing for steelhead yesterday.... ended up with a nice eater brookie and it wiggles off the treble hook while I was handling it

It's a monster!!!
Did you get any good suggestions on how to guess the girth or are you just going to let the taxidermist figure that out off pictures?

This was from SD a few weekends back was a great time fish where already in Post Spawn but we managed to have a 100 fish day on the last day. Biggest of the trip was a spawned out 23. No pic of that one and also managed a pretty nice size kittie.

Those look delicious!
AND... it has me pumped for Canada!

Nothing great here yet.

Big boys have been pounded out from the dock. Not mentioning who but they are retired.

See if I can motivate myself to go out in the boat.

Nice gill!

I'm crossing my fingers the weather cooperates this weekend. my buddies went fishing in kbay. casting for browns and cohos and caught a good number of them, I'd like to get out there and haul in a few myself, fresh coho is the most delicious fish I've ever had. if wind dont cooperate I'll explore some rivers or small inland lakes to take advantage of

Ya I measured the width of my bump board and used the picture of the fish on it and estimated off that. Came up with 17" girth. Which comes out to approximately a 7 lb fish.

Got out on Keweenaw bay tonight since it was just about dead calm and I'm not sure the next time that will happen is.... caught a coho casting... pumped out of my face excited, but weather literally went from 80 degree slight SW wind to freezing N wind off the big lake and 40 degrees in about 10 minutes time so we got off the lake with the building waves while a front was moving in from the south... it was like a weird vortex, cold north wind low, warm south wind high.... made for cool pic though

My luck is starting to turn I think. Got my youngest out on the boat for her first ever fishing experience and she had a blast.... even kept herself entertained when it was slow. Even got to reel in a few nice keepers

Went UpNorth last weekend and ripped on the bass. No monsters but caught 1-3 pounders pretty consistently all day. Bass up here seem to average much smaller than what I'm used to in Florida.
