Anyone going out?

Been doing a little goose hunting (unsuccessful) last few years. Now I've got an interest in teal.

Are they only in the coastal areas? Or do they wander inland to ponds and small streams?

Teal hunting is a hit or miss thing I go for the geese and have a gun ready for teal . few seconds one would have can't be wasted changing shells . Teal need for lots of freshwater will have them roosting and resting on it and running the rivers to the Chesapeake bay to move down the line . I have found that structure that sticks out along the waterways like a tree or channel markers or anything that has been there for many years will work better then decoys . With that said Goose decoys will bring them too an X in between them and the shore .
