LITTLE FALLS, Minn. -- Six Indiana men have been fined $5,350 for taking 92 walleyes over their limit from Lake Winibigoshish in northeastern Minnesota.
Minnesota DNR conservation officers ticketed 62-year-old Harry Wilson of Riley, Ind.; 57-year-old Stephen Johnson of Clinton, Ind.; and four Terre Haute, Ind., residents -- 70-year-old John Donnenhoffer, 59-year-old Thomas Waugh, 55-year-old Ronald Knopp, and 44-year-old Billy Joe Fulk.
Authorities say the men were ticketed on June 16 after being stopped on the lake. A check of their cabin found 128 walleyes, 92 over the limit for six anglers. Minnesota's daily and possession limit is six walleyes per angler.
