That's what I thought but wasn't sure if I was missing something

 

I can switch out my crimp starters on my pw in seconds so I use both. I like the looks of the 8 pt better in the GM but tend to use the 6 pt crimp more often.

You mean in the three threads I did what reloader should I get?, a question about crimps on the two others? The reloader is relevant to the question and yes I think the PW is the best shot shell loader you can buy.

 

PW also gets parts back to you at a great price,some times N/C and in less than ten days.
East coast all the way to Reno ,with great service and they stand behind their machines.

Sending it back this winter for them to give it, its 25 year "Oil and lube".............and chech up.

Only one broken spring and a plastic primer keeper,for my unit,over the years.

I am another happy camper.

 

I like the 8 point crimp better simply cause on my reloader I'm getting better crimps on new hulls. I struggled with the 6 point crimp on new hulls.

 

Have sheet on which there is graphs and PSI/FPS comparisons of crimp closures. "Copyright of Clay&Game Shotshell R&D" but dont know how it could be posted in here, the only way is to e-mail to some one in this forum who knows "how to" so that every body can see it.
