This is me and my dad's second year waterfowl hunting and three times this year we have had two species of ducks in our spread that we did not shoot due to not seeing them on the new Hampshire waterfowl bag list. One being a pair of green wing teal and another being a small group of common golden eye. We let them pass due to not seeing them on the bag list for new Hampshire. So my question is was a good call letting them pass or not? If you can harvest those birds then how many are you aloud to shoot. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A The daily bag limit of 6 ducks may include no harlequin ducks and no more than 4 mallards (2 of which may be hens), 2 black ducks, 3 wood ducks, 1 pintail, 2 canvasbacks, 2 redheads, 2 scaup, and no more than 4 scoters, 4 eiders, or 4 long-tailed ducks. Possession limits are three times the daily bag limit (e.g. The mallard possession limit is 12, of which 6 may be hens).

B The daily bag limit of 5 mergansers is in addition to the daily bag limit of 6 ducks and may include no more than 2 hooded mergansers. Possession limits are three times the daily bag limit (e.g. The hooded merganser possession limit is 6)

Those birds are 'ducks', 6 each.
