one of my hunting partners and myself went out for a walk in the marsh about a week back and spooked up about 7 or 8 mallards(all drakes). I was shocked to see an albino mallard in the flock. this bird was mostly white with a small amount of reddish brown color to it. Has anyone else seen this in the wild and how common of an occurence is it? Man, if it was only hunting season....

if you go to the puddler duck chat room and look under blonde mallard youll see a pic of one my buddy took while we were hunting this year. It was pretty sweet!

Most of the white ducks I see are part, or mostly domestic. Not sure i've ever seen an actual albino...

I was scouting one day and looking at a field with about a 1,000 ducks on it and there was a blonde hen out there. :yes:

I have never seen a blonde mallard or albino. The closest is a terrible looking cross between a Peking and Mallard. Even the duck looked embarrassed.
