Ok, my dad and i are going to Pickerel Creek after school to hunt duck/geese. If any of you know how deep pickerel creek is.. please respond and tell me! I have waiters and i am setting out decoys. I just don't want to all of a sudden fall in a whole, or find out it has a drop off. Please respond! :getdown:

Use a wading staff. It'll locate a drop off and also hell you keep your balance. generally they are 4' long. Mine has a hook on the end so I can hook the decoy lines with it, basically an old straight shovel handle.
