This is a redwood plank alviso scull boat, built in the early 30's by a guy I can';t remember his name.
I have known the owners of this boat for the last 30 yrs, and recently its come under my care. THis was its first shoot for me, and although I am having a hard time getting me to fit into it, I managed to get up on 6 honkers, and drop 3 of them. The shotgun is a model 12, with briley chokes in it, and painted to protect it from the saltwater.

Dennis,
Really cool. Im just getting started boat hunting the south bay sloughs. It sounds like youve been at it awhile. Any advise would be appreciated, especially info about where to launch thats not too far from the hunting areas.

awesome how such a old boat and design can still out preform todays designs huh? i love scullers, nothing gets the job done quite like a scull boat
