Anyone hunt webster or backwaters lakes or tippy i always see alot of birds on tippy but not till everything else freezes up. Dewart also seems good late but it seems to freeze up fast.
Webster and the backwaters gets hit extremely hard. I've seen 6 or 7 different groups out there on some days. There can be alot of birds there but there are also plenty of other lakes around that area that have just as many birds and alot less pressure. The opening days and weekends see a lot of hunters.
I shot limit of mallards and a banded goose on wawasee this past Saturday. Oh yeah i hunted of a 20 foot pontoon boat, and whats up tih the CO's cruising around in a helicopter over there.
I seen lots of birds on Tippy Sunday. A ton of mallards and quite a few geese. Unfortunately I was casting instead of blasting. Didn't hear hardly any shots around the area.
