Me and 2 other guys dropped 1 Mottled duck ( aka florida mallard ) and one Blue-wing Teal. We also shot at a possible 2nd Mottled duck that was wound and grabbed up by a fellow hunter at the opposite side of the field. Pretty much this weekend was bad as far as ducks flying.

excellent hunts this weekend in Maine and NH - there are a 'ton' of ducks and geese - got another 20" of snow this morning which might move some of the birds out - lot's of wind too - main species are blacks, mallards and Canadas.

I must say that sitting waist deep in water in the Mississippi Delta, I am glad to hear that the ducks are leaving the North!

Kentucky hunter here. Slow as I've seen in 5 years. River, farm pond or otherwise.

I was trying to figure out why guys were shooting ducks in August. Then I noticed the date.......... I'm a little slow today. And sick at that.
