How many of you fellas have had your hats shot up and what game was it in.

How bad did they get it?

Was it a favorite cap?

Well we were messing around and my dad threw up my cousin's hat and my dad's friend just pointed from the hip and ended up shooting my cousin's hat. It was funny because it had a big hole in it and we ended up giving it back to him for X-mas :laughing:

I have 4 caps that are shot up. One is from my first 25 straight, and the other 3 are from winning ol. skeet B class tournaments.

I really liked the first one (Columbia) issed: After that I got used to shooting the finals with cheap promo caps on. :smile:

I have 3 shot up visor caps. My first hat was from a 12gauge 25 strait in skeet.

2nd hat got shot 3 times in one day shooting skeet. I was shooting a 20 gauge. I shot my first 25 strait with a 20. The very next round I ran another strait. 1st 50 strait with a 20. The very next round....75 strait. I went for the 4th round trying to get my 100/100, and missed High house 5. so i shot a 99/100. They shot my A's cap 3 times that day once after every perfect round. I told the guys that the targets looked like trash can lids to me that day. I haven't gotten close to the 75 strait since then, and my best 100 score has been a 96/100.

My 3rd cap was the first time i shot 25 strait with a .410 in skeet.

I have shot 25's in trap at the 16yd line. But i told the guys i wasn't a trap shooter so they couldn't shoot my cap.

All the better. I've had mine shot once, and should have had several others, I always miss the easiest ones when it's crunch time. I've shot quite a few of my team mates.

Let me guess, you miss low 7, My teams joke is that nobody misses low seven. :laughing: It never fails I think i miss it about once every league.

Also the first time in skeet when you've ran your 24 strait and now it is time for your option shot. I think everyone misses that shot on their first attempt at a strait. I know i did.

my buddies got this un good.
Last year on my 14th birthday.
1st strait w/ a 20ga.
This was my fav. hat that I wore everywhere.
There are still pellets in the hat that you can feel.

I didn't know why until mine was shot. In my squad, you don't get yours shot for every 25, it's for your first round without missing in each type of sport. Wobble, 5 stand, Sporting Clays, Trap, Skeet. It's just a fun way to remember.

we shoot hats for a shooters first perfect round. Most everybody around here will shoot a hat for .

25/25 50/50 75/75 100/100 In all gauges. 12, 20, 28 and .410

We don't do it for every perfect score, just the first time you hit a milestone.

So Stouff, Don't you and Duff go shooting your hats after prom night next year!!!! :toofunny:

12 guage is right Ace. I spent the majority of my teens and early 20's traveling around the country and shooting ATA trap....and some skeet/sporting clays. Wish I had the time/money to do it like I used to.

Today I shot a 24, and he tried to make me feel better and shot a 23 (yeah, right :mrgreen: )......
