After watching the Berkeley stuff online and on TV I got curious to see if any young guys on here dont know who or what she is? I know its an issue that may get guys fired up but I would hate to see a generation forget. I will include the Snopes link so you can pick out the facts from BS. I got a little upset today and ranted because I saw an anti war protestor today with a poster that read "Thank God for Dead Soldiers." and "Thank God for IED's"

If you would like some more let me know and i will Post em up.
More of what? Another 6 minutes of people getting semi-heated on a street corner? Are you seriously trying to compare the links you posted to people spitting on troops and calling them baby killers?

You are REALLY reaching here.

Thank you for proving my point. Which is that people's attitudes have changed greatly since Nam. Even though Iraq is a HUGELY unpopular war, anti-war sentiments among people in the homeland remain very cordial. Even the people voicing their concerns the loudest have done so with a relative respect for the troops who are fighting there.

I'll be honest, I was expecting a Youtube clip of some ****** spitting on a troop getting off of a plane, or something to that extent. If all you have is a clip of some mother's wearing pink being filmed while they spout some nonsense, or a transcript of John Kerry being the douche bag he is and equating troops being terrorists via Limbaugh as your cannon-fodder....then you're just trying to get yourslef upset.

The same goes for Hanoi Jane. Why are you trying to make a generation remember someone who is totally irrelevant? All you're doing is giving her more credit than she deserves. Let her be forgotten.

Ever stop to ask yourself why the people here in America are more tolerant of this war, as opposed to Vietnam? Why they are not violently protesting like they did back in the 60's? Probably not, but the difference between Vietnam and todays war is a little thing that some remember as 9/11. The terrorists attacked us...hell, they were attacking us long before 9/11 abroad, but it took something like 9/11 for the US to start kicking some terrorist butt.

It's true, the protesters now are not as verbal and abusive toward the troops coming home, but find the Berkley thread on here and read about what the City Council did out there to the Marine recruiting center. Read about the protest that went on...they didn't protest the troops directly, just the mere presence of the Marines in there city. This kind of crap is a joke...better yet, here is the link http://www.duckhuntingchat.com/viewtopic.php?t=57072...then they hide behind the slogan, "we support the troops, we just don't support the war"...well, what exactly do you think the troops are doing over there?....they are keeping your asses safe back here at home so we don't have another 9/11. They are paying for your freedom and safety in blood. The way that I see it, if people want to protest the war, they have every right to do that...that freedom was bought and paid for in blood, it's too bad alot people don't realize that. If your not with us, your against us, and if people can't see that we are wiping out the terrorists so that people can live freely or travel abroad in safety, then God help you.

Thank you Bill Clinton for closing all our military bases back in the 90's so we had too few combat ready troops to enter this action...thanks for not taking out Osama when you had the chance....thank you for not taking military action against the terrorists that have been bombing us for the 8 years you were in office....liberal clowns. Him and Jane would make a good pair....

I took a jane fonda this morning....... I had to flush twice to get rid of her though

Did you leave any of her on the bowl on the way down?....nothing like a good sandblasting.....
Did you wipe your Hillary when you finished?
All I was trying to do is show you that it is starting to turn ugly and that we cant let it happen. You on the other hand have decided to play the antagonist here so dont get mad when people put up opposing ideas. We shouldn't allow Code Pink to say some of the stuff they say. Yes they can protest, no they cant demen the troops. I want to cut it off before it happens. By remembering what can happen we can stop it.

What are you arguing? Good, I am happy its more cordial. What do you want spitting? You dont have a side, when someone counters you, you agree and then argue again. It would be easier to discuss this if you had a tangible point to make. I will be back in a minute all the talk about taking a Fonda has got my guts stirring, and Im Not sure I wiped my Rosie O'Donnel good enough. Back in 5
Damn it Apex you beat me to it.
