Hunted the Vermet Unit on Saturday. Got a greenhead and a scoter. Saw quite a few birds but nothing wanted to decoy or respond to any calls. Drift hunted the Huron River yesterday morning. Saw about 6 mallards, 2 drake woodies, and a bunch of geese but did not get any shots. Definitely a slow season, maybe we will be able to make up for it during the 2 day late season!
