Can anyone tell me if the island's located at the mouth of the Skokomish are well marked for WDFW owned property. I was unable to get a good view from shore to see where the hunt areas are located. If anyone has experience here i would appreciate the help. If not, i guess i will have to put the boat in and find out for myself - thanks again!

Do you know the regs for Mason County Hood Canal? Any special regs as far as how far from shore or houses etc?

There wasn't any signs two years ago, but with all the work done down there that might have changed. I put in along the road just before the coffee shack and went straight out to the salmon net poles then turned left and headed south. towards the cut in the dike. The river runs all the way around the island and i often just motored around it and drifted around the corners and shot tons of ducks, just be very familar with the tides, you don't want to hunt anything much below 4-5 foot lows, unless you like walking in muck, take your salmon pole along in oct if its open this year and you can catch kings running the river.
