I was a remington and Browning fan until I bought my 835 a couple of seasons ago. Who wants to scratch up an $1100 gun and get it full of salt and rust. The 835 is hands-down the best pump I have owned.
A couple of months ago I went fo the 935 to use as field gun for geese and ducks. I've put 1000 rounds through it, and although the first 200 had problems with 2 3/4 shells it now cycles just about Anything you put in it.
A word of caution though, if you are hunting don't take a chance, use 3" or 3 1/2 shells in the gun. They have NEVER jammed or misfired in mine. This thing is impervious to rust and I went 736 rounds before the gas tube got so dirty it needed cleaning.
GREAT GUN (Not for the money, just great)
