i've been seeing a lot of snows in lebanon county. just wondering if anyone is having any success blasting them?

Are they getting close to Fredricksburg?

My 1 buddy has a Farm he has Permission to hunt, we want to hit it, when the Snows start getting into that area!

Lets hope, this Big Storm that is working it's way to us, does not push them back south for awhile.

I been hearing the Guys down near Muddy Run have been doing pretty good!

i would imagine they are in fredricksburg. i live in lebanon and i've been seeing them fly over here. there is a pond along rt. 322 near quentin where they have been coming into every day for about a week now. they are super safe there though because no one is allowed to hunt it.

Somewere, Down that way, A Friend of Mine knows a Guy who raises Buffalo.

DB Said, he is going to see if we can try and hunt this Farm for Snows. they are suppose to be comeing into there.

Don't know if that is the same area you posted about?

i don't know if he has buffalos or not but this area is loaded with canadians as well as snows and the landowner does not let anybody hunt it. he just laughed at me when i asked him.

Up until this thursday I have seen alot and shot a few.That last snow storm we had I think has chased them out. Its goingto get a little warmer and they want rain this week. that might bring them back for a last day effort. :getdown:

Fili,

The reason I asked if they had Hockey Sticks was not to be mean or Degrading!

It is something a Waterfowl Biologist had told me years ago.

They are not owned by Canada, they do not have Passports nor Birth certificates from Canada.

They are just plain Canada Geese.

Guys I know, that have been down to Middle Creek said they Estimate the snows there at around 2,500-5,000.
Not the big Flock that is Normally there at this time of year, But some to hunt.
Hopefully they will return before the Season goes out and you guys will be able to thin their Numbers! :thumbsup:

I have a Buddy who Constantly refers to canada geese as Canadians, and I ask him if they Fly with Hockey Sticks and Pass Ports? He Always comes back with, HUH! :laughing:

i hunted them in allentown and reading i seen thousands...i went up there this weekend..planned to hunt them and did'nt see anything,but a few thousand canadas..i think the season's over here in Pa...i'll be scouting for gobblers soon..thank god...it's been a long season....for me...Honkers41 :salude:

i haven't seen many this past week either until this evening. a would guess a couple thousand flew by my house. they looked like they were headed towards hershey flying east to west.

We saw several thousand outside Middle Creek Saturday. We only managed to kill four but should have shot several more. It was my first snow goose hunt. A buddy took me along. What was cool though was we actually had birds decoy and not just pass shooting. Nothing against pass shooting but I'm just not into it. I prefer to shoot decoying birds. From what I'm hearing and seeing on other websites the snows are back at Middle Creek now. I might get after them one more day. Good luck!

well i wish i could get up there in middlecreek, i got a report from the game commison..there were over 115,000 birds there...but i could'nt get a farm up there..ahh maybe nextyear...but i did hear it's tough to get permission...so i'll stick with the Reading and allentown area...next year , i'm hunting them alot up ther..but it's great to hear ther in berks also..tell's me they've been moving and outta Penna...wish they had a spring season here........Honkers41
