i'll take a stab at it. i don't really see any surprises in the second 1/2 of the season in either league.

AL:
Boston
Anaheim
Chicago
Baltimore (wc)

NL:
St. Louis
Atlanta
San Diego
Chicago/Washington (wc)

i think it'll end up being Boston & St. Louis for a rematch in the series. don't expect St. Louis to be pushed over this year though.

i would love to see my braves pull it off but they'll find a way to flop a nut in the playoffs again.

I can't worry about any other teams right now, I have to focus on my A's and their record. Last night we just won our 7th in a row. 2 games below 500 and i believe 4 games back on the WC. Our pitching has been hot and so has our bats. We have been scoring a ton of runs lately. Grant it, it was the Giants and the Mariners, but you have to start somewhere. The A's have been a second half team for the last couple of years so hopefully they will pull it together.

Chicago is tough.

I agree with shrp for the most part. I think that the Marlins will get the wild card, behind the Braves winning the division. I just don't think that the Nationals will hold out. In the AL I've got to put the Yanks in there somewhere, probably wild card, but that is just because those a-holes are so lucky. GO BRAVES!

I think shrpshtr is on the right track, but the Rangers might do so damage in the American League West before it's all said & done. :umm:
We'll find out how much damage the rangers are going to do within a couple of weeks. My A's play them something like 8 games in 2 weeks. The A's are making a strong push in the west right now. Just if the dang Angels would slow down a little. I hope our pitching staff is ready for 8 games with the Rangers. They are going to come up against some seriouse hitters.

I'll take a shot:

NL East: Florida
NL Central: St Louis
NL West: San Diego
Wild card: Atlanta

St Louis over Atlanta; Florida over SD; St louis over Florida

AL East: Boston
AL Central: Chicago
AL West: Anaheim
Wild card: Minnesota

Minnesota over Chicago, Anaheim over Boston; Minnesota over Anaheim

World series: Minnesota over St Louis in 7
