I goota tellya, it looks pretty bleak for the last week of the season. I have been out on the Bay all last week, skipped Sat and was out again this morning.....only there are few birds around and the Blacks are declining....had a skunker today....only had a chance to try and pull a pair of blacks about 9 am, but they would not commit......had a pair of hunters set up right across from us.....went over and asked if they realized they were so close and in our shooting lane and was cussed out......so much for courtesy and safety concerns, let alone ethics, and I don't care that they were not prepared (they were in a canoe and wanted to stay close to shelter)....they should get up an hour earlier if they need to stay off the open water!
